About Us
Meet the Local Vines Wine Bar Team
I wanted to create a place for my community to come together and enjoy the amazing wines from our local vineyards.
I envisioned a cozy atmosphere and a knowledgeable staff to guide guests through their tastings. After months of research and planning, our doors opened in early July of 2023.

We are excited to feature small wineries and independent winemakers from Southern Oregon. You can enjoy a flight of five wines, that are a mixture of whites, reds and an occasional rose that change weekly. These wines are also available by the glass. Or you can purchase any bottle we have in stock to enjoy here or take with you. We also serve local beers, ciders, seltzers, sodas and several types of Mocktails. If you are hungry, we offer small bites, including a decadent chocolate plate.

Our staff is passionate about the wines we serve, and our aim is to create an enjoyable experience for all our guests. We host events such as live music, winemaker spotlights, and private parties so there is always something fun going on. Come in and let us take care of the rest!
Cheers from all of us at Local Vines Wine Bar!

Plaisance Ranch
Plaisance \Plai`sance"\, n. [French] pronounciation: "PLAY-zonce"
Pleasure; merriment; gayety; delight; kindness.
"With great pleasure."

A working ranch since 1858, Plaisance Ranch is run by third-generation wine grape growers and ranchers, Joe and Suzi Ginet. We believe in regenerative farming and low impact agriculture. Our ranch features 157 USDA certified organic acres dedicated to raising beef cattle that graze on native grass hay from pastures that have never been plowed. We treat our grape vines with that same organic integrity. Our vineyards—of plants sourced from our own certified root stock nursery—are hand managed, with cover cropping, non-chemical Clemens weed control, and minimal irrigation. Our acreage supports honeybee hives, heirloom vegetable gardens and orchards alongside our grass fed and finished beef and over 24 outstanding estate wines.

Local Vines is currently serving the Carmenere, Mourvèdre, Petite Syrah, Petite Verdot, "Vaquero" Red Blend, & the Grande Fanale dessert Wine. You can enjoy them here or visit them at their tasting room located at 1695 Water Gap Road, in Williams OR., on Wednesday through Monday, from noon to 6pm
